Really confused on the good reviews. I'm eating imperial chicken right now. This is the driest chicken I've ever eaten. Awful

The food is great. The owners are very friendly and give us suggestions on menu items to try. They will even make menu items with a twist in the ingredients from the way they normally make it. Every time they do this, those dishes turn out fantastic. We pickup to take home from here all the time.

She was very polite and suggested the Mongolian beef. I do not usually like Mongolian beef at other places because it is too sweet, but I took her word for it and tried it, and it was delicious! The dish had everything I look for in quick Chinese food: tender meat, not stringy pieces with a lot of connective tissue, not too much sauce or garlic, and vegetables that are not overcooked, they actually hold their own flavor. The onions had a little char on them and it's hard to do that without wilting them to mush! So the chef is certainly skillful (you get to watch him work, by the way, always a plus, very reminiscent of southern waffle houses). I got the plain white rice and it was cooked perfectly, this is critical, if it was not good rice I would not come back. Their crab rangoons are made with a thinner "paper" than most, and I found them to be more crisp and lighter, and you actually taste the filling instead of starchy grease. Cost of Mongolian beef dish with three crab rangoons was $9.07 which is maybe a little higher than some Chinese restaurants but I found it to be very worth it considering the quality of ingredients and the amount of food I got. This place is between work and home for me, I think I will be stopping by a lot more in the future!

The good, the bad, and the Amazing... My first time here was with my fiancée and her son, we told the nice couple working it was our first time, and they explained everything to us in an extremely polite manner, to ensure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. The little man wanted spicy Kung pao chicken and it was spicy, he ate every bite; and for a 4 year old, that's amazing!! My fiancée and I ordered some chicken dishes, we had them with the fried chicken pieces opposed to the grilled, and unfortunately it was a little dry. The grilled chicken (Kung pao) was not dry; we with both order the grilled chicken next time! The sauces on all dishes were AMAZING, and spot on to out requests!!! Theirs were spicy and mine was sweet with spice!! The owners were extremely friendly, and talked to us while dinner was being prepared. We could tell they work 363 days a year and we applaud them for their hard work. I would rather give them a second chance to improve our dinner than go to another place for Chinese food (did I mention how good the sauce was!!!!). The also MAKE their own dumplings, and they too were delicious!! Other than the fried chicken pieces being too dry it was one of the tastiest meals in a long time. We will definitely be back!! We hope others will help support these hard working people, as they truly want to make their customers happy!

There are nearly a dozen Chinese restaurants within a five-minute drive. I haven't tried them all, but based on my first 3 visits, I plan to be back to this one soon and often. Why? First, my Mongolian Beef tasted great. Second, the proprietors are exceptionally customer-oriented. They are happy to help you find a dish to match your tastes. They made it clear from the start that they could be flexible: "I usually fix that with mushrooms. Is that okay with you?" The dining area is plain but hospitable. The late afternoon sun kept it just a little warmer than I'd like. I'd feel comfortable bringing a book or some homework here. Tables can be moved to accommodate families or small groups. This restaurant hides in the middle of a desolate strip mall once occupied by a "big box" store (turn by McDonalds).

I have gone here since I was a kid. But lately it has been so poor that my fiance and I have decided we will not be going back at all. When I ordered my food i was pressured into trying something new which I had to argue multiple times that I didnt not want to try something else. I knew what I wanted to order and knew that I didnt not like anything that came in the meal he wanted me to try. He then made an aggravated noise and shook his head at me. Once we got our food my fiance's chicken (in the meal that he was convinced to try) was still raw in the middle and mine was incredibly dry.

My boyfriend and I went for a late lunch. We got soup, crab Rangoon, a chicken dish and a shrimp dish. The portions were quite large which suit us fine. The soup (egg drop) was great, it wasn't yellow like most but that didn't mean it wasn't delicious. The chicken and shrimp dishes were both labeled as spicy. Normally when I head to a Chinese place and order something spicy I'm let down by the lack of zing. However at this place they aren't kidding when you see that red pepper Indicating spice. To say the least I was quite happy about that factor. However the veggies and shrimp in mine were not as fresh as they could have been. The shrimp obviously frozen and the veggies a little mushy for my taste. Overall a great place. Also. If you have a peanut allergy be sure to say something the owner. He was very nice and asked if we wanted nuts (I'm VERY allergic) on top or in our meals. We declined and learned they used soy oil to cook with.

I got General Tso's Chicken to go. When I started eating, I noticed the chicken was terribly dry. However, I was willing to put up with is because I was starving and overall, the flavor was still decent. Then, I bit into a piece and stabbed the roof of my mouth with a bone. There were multiple small bones (and one large one) when I spit it out. I completely lost my appetite after that bite and threw the rest out. Do yourself a favor and find another Chinese restaurant.

That was the worst chinese food I've ever had, and I eat a lot of chinese food. The chicken didn't have any chicken in it; just fried pieces of batter with a chewy, tiny, jerky-like shred of chicken inside (if you're lucky? ). The sauce was nothing more than spicy corn syrup. So sad. This place used to be pretty good- about15 years ago.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
